West Licking Special Olympics

Mission Statement

The West Licking County Warriors are dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities, creating opportunities for athletes to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and build meaningful friendships with their families and community.

We believe that every individual can learn, grow, and succeed through sport when given encouragement, support, and opportunity. Our program fosters an inclusive environment where athletes of all abilities are valued, respected, and given an equal chance to participate and excel.

Through the power of sports, we strive to promote confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship while strengthening families and bringing our community together in a spirit of acceptance, dignity, and inclusion.
